Swynette’s passion for fashion extends well over 25 years; modeling and designing. She is the chief executive designer and the originator of Swan Te’ Designs for over four years. She is skilled with many gifts such as a self-taught designer, creative director, and an educator just to name a few. Her fashion designs ranges from haute contour to fashion going forward. Swynette designs with a story in mind factoring in comfortability, sustainability, and flexibility for women as her designs give life to fashion.
Swynette has collectively shared her eccentric artistic fashions, event planning, consultant services, and hair stylist expertise with various organizations within the municipality. Fashion Shows including National Black Theatre Festival (Designer and Creative Director) from 2007 to 2017, Greater Cleveland Avenue Christian Church and Women Socials, The Church the Body of Christ, and Alabaster Place for Domestic Violence, Winston –Salem Fashion Week 2014 and 2019, charity fundraisers, and more.
Swynette has been the visionary for the many community fashion events where she shared memorable eclectic designs within the triad with the most recent, “Here Comes the Sun” Trio Event 2021 and “I’m Coming Out” 2022.
She has been recognized by WXII News Channel 12, for hair care and fashion services provided to the Salvation Army women and awarded the County Entertainment Awards for Fashion Designer and Event Planner of the Year for 2018.
As she thrives, the late Alexander McQueen and American fashion designer Kirby Jean-Raymond “Pyer Moss” continues to be her inspirations.
Swynette gives GOD all the credit for her natural creative gifts that births unique self-taught designs from various fabrics to unconventional items sharing her creative imagination through styles to encourage others.
